Innovative research for medical image processing

The Signal Processing (SP) core of CIBM aims at innovative research in medical image processing and the development of new algorithms and mathematical tools. It provides fundamental expertise for signal processing and image analysis and takes part in many collaborative projects. Its research interests include multimodal imaging (visualization, interpolation, registration), mathematical imaging (image reconstruction, spectroscopy), parametric imaging (fMRI statistical analysis, connectivity, perfusion imaging, diffusion imaging), and quantitative image processing (atlas-based segmentation, statistical classification, brain connectivity) .
