We are looking for volunteers !

We are looking for volunteers for an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan on a 7 Tesla scanner. MRI is a technique which uses strong magnetic fields and low energy radio waves to make images of the inside of the human body. This process is not dangerous and non-invasive and can greatly improve the diagnostic tools in the biomedical research field.

The scanner is located in the CIBM building on the EPFL campus in Lausanne. You'll be paid 50 CHF for a max. 2 hours experiment.

You can participate if you are :

  • not under 18 years old
  • in good health
  • not pregnant
  • not claustrophobic (the MRI scanner is a very narrow enclosed space)
  • and you don't have a cardiac pacemaker or any other metalic implant.

You can sign up by sending an e-mail with all your contact informations to volontaire@cibm.ch. You will then be contacted by our staff for more informations.
